Many people with high academics go into high paying fields but at the end of the day their net worth is dependent on their time. Many lower GPA students go into sales and end up earning an override on those high paid people. John D Rockefeller said “I’d rather earn 1% off 100 men’s effort than 100% of ny own”

Perhaps if they’d applied themselves we’d be reading the vanity tag on their private jet instead of a car. Jokes aside, this isn’t intended to be motivational, it’s snobbiness. “I didn’t work hard and skated by and things still worked out for me.” Of course things can happen by luck and if C’s are all you can do, then that’s that and you play the hand you’ve been dealt, but that’s not what this is.

Every student I began college who said this either graduated late and isn’t pursuing our career path or dropped out entirely. I think a better saying is, “If you aren’t making A’s in college, you are wasting time and money.”

I definitely don't want anyone with a low GPA operating on me, spliting atoms or administrating the law of the land. GPA really means problem solving skills really, cheating or not you looked at the problem and found a solution, that's it. Ethics on the other hand is not taught but depends on the person's choices. GPA and success dependent on each other.

If no one will say it, I will... Gorgeous car! Maybe an extravagant price range for what I want but to each their own. I’m 95% done with a BS in physics I’m 90% done with a BS in ME I have an “overall” GPA of 2.56. Definitely struggled to understand college life for the first year. Can’t someone struggle through life just to afford their passion?
