    I think it depends on what you define as “what you are” because sometimes because are justified in their hatred and sometimes they’re not. For example if you consider your beliefs as part of “who you are” there are some that warrant hatred, whereas if it’s based ok your interests it’s usually not warranted. (Hating someone for being a Nazi vs hating them for playing Fortnite for example)
