Yet we make divisions to make sure everyone doesn't belong.

People making fun of the art but I think this is fucking *perfect* with this quote. In what more complete way of belonging is there than between a mother and a child? The symbolism is as old as history and the act of breastfeeding is literally one of the classifications of our biological class: mammals. We are breastfeeders. So it makes perfect sense to pair a quote about biology and belonging to this artwork. Just my opinion anyway. Very good sub. Thank you OP.

That’s not true. Some people are wired as psychopath and sociopath. They don’t have empathy or love or bonding to other humans. The traits show up early in life and in many cases there is no abuse or neglect. It is simply biology. They are wired differently. It’s dangerous for people to think that everyone is good deep down inside and love can change them. You will get used and abused and waste your life on them and they will remain unchanged and unfettered and will discard you and move on to the next person(s) to drain. Don’t be naive.
